Womanspace Records, 1975-1981; item description, dates. 81-M139, box #, folder #. Schlesinger Library, Radcliffe Institute, Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass.

A Boston-based feminist therapy collective, Womanspace began in 1975 and closed in 1981 due to financial problems. It provided counseling, referral and educational services to individual women, couples, families, and groups; held workshops, seminars, and conferences on feminist theory, ethnicity, and racism; was a consultant to agencies and schools; published several bibliographies on the psychology and counseling of women; and provided internships for women in counselor-education programs. It attempted to make psychotherapy accessible to all women through low rates.

Collection consists of organization records (reports of meetings, internships, personnel), financial records, and records of programs (bibliographies, conferences, and case files).
