BIOGRAPHY

Suffragist Mabel Raef Putnam was the President of the Wisconsin National Woman's Party. She was the author of The Winning of the First Bill of Rights for American Women (1924) and What Every Woman Should Know About Finance (1954).

SCOPE AND CONTENT

Scrapbook of clippings by Putnam and 2 manuscript articles by Edwin E. Witte and Howard F. Ohm, all of which concern the Wisconsin equal rights law.
