SCOPE AND CONTENT

These addenda contain biographical information; certificates and awards; unpublished papers and reports; correspondence about medical issues, honors, personal life, her patients, etc.; photographs; and other material related to Hardy's professional career. A number of correspondence files from her colleague John Stoeckle center around commissioning a portrait of Hardy as part of the 200th anniversary of the Harvard Medical School in 1982 and the publication of a new edition of Alice Hamilton's and Harriet Hardy's Industrial Toxicology in 1998.
Additional material received between 1996 and 2006 (accession numbers 96-M155, 97-M35, 97-M138, 98-M171, 99-M81, 2001-M24, 2001-M93, 2001-M189, 2002-M1, 2002-M26, 2002-M36, 2006-M29) consist mostly of correspondence with her colleague John D. Stoeckle and were added to the collection in March 2016. These materials are housed in # 22-42. All other files remain in the same order. Folders are listed in intellectual, not numerical, order.
