BIOGRAPHY

Emma Hayden Eames was an operatic soprano who made her debut in 1891. She was married to Julian Story from 1891 to 1907 and to Emilio de Gogorza from 1911 to 1932.

SCOPE AND CONTENT

Collection consists of 76 letters to Francis Wilson Lee of Boston, treasurer of a fund raised by friends to finance Eames's musical studies abroad, 1886-1891.
