BIOGRAPHY

Anna C. Wigglesworth Chase, daughter of George and Mary Catherine (Dixwell) Wigglesworth, was born April 7, 1879. She married Philip Putnam Chase (1878-1978), a history teacher at Milton Academy, on June 27, 1903. They had three children: Philip Wigglesworth Chase (1904-), John Peirce Chase (1906-1994), and George Wigglesworth Chase (1908-125). Chase died in 1965.

SCOPE AND CONTENT

Correspondence, diaries, and photographs of Anna Wigglesworth Chase and her husband Philip Putnam Chase (1878-1978). Correspondents include their children, topics include vacations and trips, including their honeymoon in 1903.
