The American Dental Association Department of Library Services (formerly the Bureau of Library Services) provides information resources to members of the American Dental Association.
The collection is arranged into two series reflecting the original order as received from the donor: Series I. Vertical files, and Series II. Manufacturing and supply catalogs. Files within each series are arranged alphebetically.
Collection consists of vertical files collected and maintained by the American Dental Association Department of Library Services which contain membership directories, bylaws, and annual event programs from various national and regional dental associations in the United States and globally; informational and educational pamphlets on topics such as fluoride use, dental health education, preventative dentistry, dental public health policy, community health dental programs, general dental hygiene, the dental impacts of particular health issues such as anorexia and cancer, school dental programs, nutrition, orthodontic care, and managing dental pain among other topics; and dental manufacturer and supply company marketing literature and catalogs.
A box and folder list for the collection is available as a separate document (spreadsheet/xls). Click to download: Inventory-HMSc503.xls
