The Harvard Gay & Lesbian Caucus began as a 12-member group. The earliest records date from 1976. As of 1998, its membership
had grown to approximately 2000 Harvard affiliates, chiefly alumni and alumnae.
This collection documents the mission and activities of the Harvard Gay & Lesbian Caucus. Documents include correspondence, memoranda, meeting minutes, membership and mailing lists, publicity and informational material. The collection also includes records pertaining to related Harvard groups.
