Biographical / Historical

Rand was a bibliographer of philosophy, librarian, and editor. He served as librarian of the Philosophical Library at Harvard from 1906 to 1933.

Correspondence; diaries; journals; autobiography; lecture notes; genealogical notes on the Rand family; notes and manuscripts for Rand's publications on philosophy, economic history, Canada, John Locke, Edward Clarke, the Earl of Shaftesbury, and the history of philosophy at Harvard. Also includes membership records and other material on the Canadian Club of Harvard.
