Vera Allen, née Klopman (1897-1987) was an actress and theatrical professional who worked for the American Theatre Wing and later for Plays for Living, a non-profit organization that developed theatrical productions that dealt with social issues. She was a founder and later chairman of the Speakers Bureau while part of the American Theatre Wing and an occasional actress on the stage and in television.
Collection includes scripts, correspondence, and files relating to the assorted activities of the American Theatre Wing and Plays for Living; some material may be present fron the American National Theatre and Academy (ANTA).
