Abstract: Autograph manuscript sermons of first minister of Dover, Rev. Benjamin Caryl, Harvard College AB 1761.
Caryle was the first minister of Springfield parish, a part of Dedham, Massachusetts, now the Town of Dover. He received an AB from Harvard College in 1761 and married Sarah, the widow of Dr. Cornelius Kollock. They had one son, George, a physician in Dover (AB Harvard 1788).

Autograph manuscript sermons, unsigned, probably written in Dover, Massachusetts; dated when first delivered 1764-1792, and with notes listing later dates of delivery to 1805. Sermons on Hebrews 10:38, Romans 14:17, Psalms 25:14, Luke 18:17, 2 Peter 1:19, and 1 Corinthians 15:45. Sermons are unbound.
