Biographical / Historical

Robert Lowell Coover was born February 4, 1932, in Charles City, Iowa, and is an American author and professor emeritus in the Literary Arts program at Brown University.


Materials are arranged in two series based on accession numbers, Accession 2013M-087 and Accession 2018M-043 and further broken down into two sub-series: Composition and Correspondence. Readers should note that when fully processed, the order of materials may change.

Scope and Contents

Includes numerous drafts of various works of fiction by Coover as well as correspondence, photographs, one videocassette, and three floppy disks. Correspondents include Theodor Geisel and John Hawkes.


Three floppy disks were removed for processing.
