Scope and Contents

Autograph manuscript sermons of Jones Very, with a manuscript index of titles (in hand of his sister Lydia Louisa Anna Very ), at the start of volume.
Sermons are numbered on verso of last page; a few include locations and dates where the sermon was delivered.
It is noted in index that some of the numbers used are now without sermons: "There were several copies of the same sermon ... the copies of more than one were taken out. The numbers without sermons are: 2, 15, 21, 27, 28, 36, 49, 59, 63, 85, 90, and 95.
