The House of Assembly is the legislative branch of the provincial government of Nova Scotia, Canada.

This collections contains chiefly manuscript legislative documents from three sitting General Assemblies--1800, 1847, and 1866. The 1800 document concerns a contested election. Documents from the 1847 Assembly include petitions, reports, and speeches, most concerning local taxes and trade, one concerning the African American population of Halifax (N.S.). Documents from the 1866 Assembly consist of printed petitions against joining in a confederated Canada.
