This collection includes printed sheet music predominently composed by British composers. In some cases the composers were from other parts of Europe but were trained in Great Britian. Some of the sheet music has been Inscribed by the composer.
Notable persons associated with this collection are: John Barnett, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Edward German, George Grossmith, George Frederic Handel, Theophilis Marzials, Tobias Matthay, Ciro Pinsuti, Landon Ronald, Charles Villiers Stanford, and William Vincent Wallace.
