Correspondence is primarily with Henry James (1879-1947) and publishers, printers, and agents, including some correspondence regarding Alice Howe Gibbons James's accounts, James Trust accounts, and others. Henry James (1879-1947) managed the finances for the James family publication accounts after his father and uncle died, and the bulk of the papers in this collection begin after 1910. Materials chiefly concern the publications of William James, but also relate to publications of Henry James, Jr. There are a few items concerning Henry James, Sr.
Materials include: correspondence, accounts, check stubs, checks (bank checks), contracts, financial statements, invoices, ledger sheets, mailing lists, memorandums, receipts (financial records), and royalty statements.
