Biographical / Historical

Erdmann studied theology at Dorpat (Tartu, Estonia) and at Berlin. He was a minister in his native Wolmar (1829-1832) before turning tothe study of philosophy at Berlin. He taught philosophy at Halle from 1832 until his death in 1892.
