Biographical / Historical

The Hatch Show Print firm was founded by brothers Charles and Herbert Hatch, in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1879. Still in business today, the firm produces letterpress posters using woodblocks. The posters are entertainment advertising for show business, including circuses, vaudeville acts, minstrels, carnivals, big band acts, musicians, singers, and theatrical performances. The company has been owned by Country Music Hall of Fame since 1992.

Includes posters for minstrel shows, circuses, big band acts, magicians, musicians, singers, plays. New printings are on archival paper and a few are incomplete (i.e. sections only).
