Eberhart is an American poet who won the Pulitzer Prize in 1966 and the National Book Award in 1977.

Contains autograph manuscript and typescript drafts of poems, a printers' copy, page proofs, dust jackets and portrait photographs of Eberhard for the publication of his sixth volume of poetry, Burr oaks (1947).
