Biographical / Historical

Everett was an American theologian and Bussey Professor of Theology at Harvard (1869-1900) and dean of the Divinity School (1878-1900).

Scope and Contents

Contains letters to Nicholas Paine Gilman, concerning The New World, a quarterly journal of philosophy and religion edited by Everett and Gilman. Also includes diaries of European trips and a commonplace book.
