Dresel was a concert pianist and composer who was born in Germany and settled in Boston, Mass.

Scope and Contents

Contains letters to Dresel as well as letters of recommendation about him from German musicians and others. Includes letters to him from Franz Liszt, and from American authors concerning their collaborative work with him. Also contains correspondence between C. G. Körner and J. C. F. Schiller.
