Biographical / Historical

MacLeish (1892-1982) was a Pulitizer Prize winning American poet, playwright, teacher, librarian of Congress, and public official. He was also Boylston professor at Harvard.

Scope and Contents

Includes the working scripts for productions and page proofs with autograph corrections of J.B.; a play in verse as well as autograph manuscript and typescript versions of The trojan horse. Also includes correspondence with Helen D. Willard of the Harvard University Theatre Collection.
