Biographical / Historical

Luis de Camões (ca. 1524-1580) was a Portuguese poet. He is considered Portugal's greatest poet.
Fernando Palha (d. 1897) was a Portuguese historian and public official. The majority of the library of Fernando Palha was purchased by John B. Stetson, Jr. for the Harvard College Library in 1928.
