Biographical / Historical

Bianchi was an American poet and novelist. She was the niece of Emily Dickinson and edited her poems and letters. Frothingham was a lawyer in New York.

Includes 318 letters by Martha Gilbert Dickinson Bianchi to Theodore L. Frothingham, some letters including original poems by her. Also includes 79 letters by her brother Edward Dickinson and 26 letters by their mother Susan Dickinson, all to Frothingham.
