Includes an indenture covering the sale of Thomson's plays Sophonisba and Spring, burial records of Thomson and David Mallet, a copyright receipt, and documents assigning
the rights of Thomson's poems.

Indenture covering the sale of Thomson's Sophonisba and Spring to Andrew Millar; also signed by D. Mallet and James Leith.
At the foot is a receipt for the consideration, signed by Thomson. Attached are two
slips of paper containing the burial records of David Mallet and James Thomson. On
the versos is a record of the papers' exhibition in the case of Millar v. Taylor.
