Biographical / Historical

Martin-Harvey was an English actor, producer and theatre manager.

Scope and Contents

Most lectures are on the actress Sarah Siddons, her accomplishments and the start of her career. Martin-Harvey also discusses Siddons' statue that was erected on Paddington Green, the Siddon Fellowship, and a celebration of the centenary of her death. Includes a thank you to the Ladies Advertising Club of London, a tribute to Henry Irving, and an address to the Critics' Circle.
