Berman was a Russian painter and designer.
Designs for the 1946 production of Giselle by the American Ballet Theatre include an unsigned drawing in ink and a signed drawing in ink, watercolor and gouache for Act I, an unsigned drawing in ink and wash of costume design for Les Willis, and an unsigned drawing in ink and watercolor of the design for the tomb in Act II.
