Ponsonby (1864-1934) was an English dramatist and philanthropist.

Includes letters to Ponsonby from Arthur Christopher Benson, Sir Benjamin Louis Cohen, Robert Offley Ashburton Crewe-Milnes, Sir Edmund Gosse, Sir Oliver Joseph Lodge, William MacDonald Sinclair, and Basil Wilberforce, among others, concerning a manifesto prepared by the Committee for the abolition of the office of dramatic censor. Also includes a letters from Ponsonby and Gilbert Cannan to Harley Granville-Barker as well as a statement to the Committee by Granville-Barker.
