Biographical / Historical

Hildebert de Lavardin, archbishop of Tours, wrote numerous religious poems, including his better known "Roman Elegies." Bernard Sylvester of Chartres was a twelfth-century neoplatonic philosopher.

Scope and Contents

Contains a twelfth-century manuscript on vellum in several unidentified hands of the biblical epigrams of Hildebert, the poem De gemellis attributed to Bernard of Chartres, as well as other anonymous poems and eulogies.
