Edgar Huidekoper Wells (1875-1938; A.B. 1897) operated Edgar H. Wells and Company, a rare book shop in New York City, from 1921 to 1938.
Correspondence concerning book purchases with various booksellers and customers, and a stock inventory. Also includes correspondence between Geoffrey J. L. Gomme, an employee of Edgar H. Wells & Co., and Harvard professor James Buell Munn regarding book requests. Also contains letters concerning Flora V. Livingston's Bibliography of the works of Kipling.
