William Upcott Papers (MS Eng 1178). Houghton Library, Harvard University.
Upcott was a British antiquarian, collector, artist, and librarian.
Organized by volume number. The arrangement of the materials within each volume
appears to be random.
Contains correspondence and notes concerning Upcott's antiquarian and collecting
interests; letters, documents, engravings, portraits, prints, and other material he
collected; and watercolor, crayon, pencil, and chalk drawings of Upcott, his
neighborhood, and his associates by Upcott, Robert Bremmel Schnebbelle, and Ozias
Humphrey. Some of Upcott's collection includes material concerning John Evelyn,
Samuel Pepys, Ozias Humphrey and Upcott himself.
