Organized into two series:

Scope and Contents

Photographs of West Indies locations and people are mounted onto pages in an album. Manuscript captions (in unidentified hand) are written beneath each photo.
Subjects of photographs are buildings, monuments, landscapes, people, plantations, city scenes, vegetation, ships, residence interiors. Also includes some especially interesting photographs of Asian-Indian coolies brought to the West Indies to work on the plantations and photographs of the city of Saint-Pierre (Martinique) prior to its total destruction during the eruption of Mount Pelée in 1902 and the destruciton of Saint-Pierre. Locations include: Antigua, Barbados, Demerara (Guyana), Martinique, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Trinidad.
Clippings were originally housed in an envelope attached to the inside of the rear cover of the album. Clippings concern the 1902 eruption of Mount Pelée on Martinique.
