Materials include Brooks' diary, 2 autograph letters from Mary Todd Lincoln to Brooks, stock certificates, and Brooks' 1872 certificate of membership in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (San Francisco). Collection also includes letters by Charles Jarvis and Oliver Wendell Holmes.
