Biographical / Historical

In 1965, the Board of Trustees of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) created a Committee on Goals and appointed Robert B. Tapp as Chairman of this committee. The purpose of the Committee was to examine some long-range planning possibilities for the UUA. As part of this process a survey was sent out to all UUA churches and fellowships in the United States and other countries. The survey contained a number of questions dealing with theological-philosophical beliefs as well as personal and social values. The results of this survey were used for long-range planning for UUA communities.
