Abstract: Pastoral records of Universalist minister, George Ezra Huntley. The records span 1931-1949.
George Ezra Huntley (1870-1950) graduated from the Canton Theological School of St. Lawrence University in 1894 and was ordained to the Universalist ministry that same year. During his career he served parishes in Framingham, Somerville, Quincy, Lowell, and Peabody, Massachusetts, as well as Oneonta, New York. He was the Ryder Professor of Homiletics and Pastoral Care at St. Lawrence University from 1905 to 1917. He served as president of the General Sunday School Association of the Universalist Church from 1913 to 1929 and is the author of Seeing Straight in the Sunday School (1919) and Hope Victoria at the Helm (1927).
This collection consists of a notebook of pastoral records that includes records of marriages performed at Universalist churches in Massachusetts.
