Gift of Elizabeth (Warren) Stoutamire (granddaughter of Herbert Langford Warren), 2007. Additional materials gift of Richard Smith Joslin (grandson of Frank Patterson Smith).

History

The collection is arranged in 10 series: Series A (Correspondence); Series B (Sketchbooks); Series C (Diaries, Travel Diary); Series D (Photographs); Series E (Architectural Drawings and Watercolors, Proposed Addition to Gore Library); Series F (Clippings); Series G (Writings); Series H (Image Collection); Series I (Cathedral of Noyon); Series J (Sculpture).

Scope and Contents

Includes travel sketchbooks, professional drawings, correspondence and photographs by and about Warren, and architectural renderings from the office of Smith & Warren. Although the bulk of the collection is the work of H.L. Warren there is also correspondence and a diary from the Warren family, primarily written by Winifred Warren.
