Biographical / Historical

H.H. Copeland and Sons were an investment house, in existence from the late 19th century to at least the mid 1950s.

Arrangement

Materials are arranged alphabetically by railroad.

Scope and Contents

Collection consists of freight traffic density charts, traffic interchanged charts and summaries of mortgage liens, net ton miles, and capital stocks for a variety of railroads. These statistical material were issued by H.H. Copeland and Son of New York City. This materials is from the files of Professor Kent T. Healey of Yale University.
