Scope and Contents

Mr. Doberstein was a management consultant for forty years, and an independent consultant from 1961-1985. His work dealt with job evaluation compensation matters at all organizational levels, and with a wide range of other organizational and personnel administrative problems. His clients were small, medium, and Fortune 500-sized, and included industrial and commercial companies from magazine publishers and printers to broadcasters and banks. Most of his activity took place from the mid-west to the east coast. The collection consists of company reports and span 1962-1984. They provide a resource for those interested in wage and salary levels, percentages of increases recommended, methods of establishing bonuses, and the amounts paid.
