Abstract: The collection consists of journals and ledgers of a firm in Boston, Mass. which manufactured plumber's supplies.
The American Tube Works was incorporated in March, 1852 to manufacture seamless brass and copper tubes. They produced boiler tubes for locomotive, marine and stationary engines, as well as tubes and piping for a variety of other purposes.
The colletion consists of journals, ledgers, and an index.
